Wallpaper by You is simply giving you the autonomy to create what will best suit your home. As a studio who hand make our wallpapers, we are able to quickly make creative changes. A service we have offered our professional partners over the last decade, we have now developed a simple digital platform for you to co-create with us. Once you have finalised your design, we print using super low VOC mineral derived paints on a responsibly sourced FSC paper base and hand screen print this for you, with the option of a sample before productio . Samples are 50cm x 70cm so can be used as a framed print or any cost of sampling will be deducted from your wallpaper order.
ACCENT:There is something quite magical about living in a busy city and finding public buildings which hold so much history but feel so contemporary. Finding solace in buildings like the Barbican Centre, both inside and out, it’s a place we really enjoy to wander within, to walk the stairs and admire the subtle brass details or curved walls.
The options for layout of this design came from that very feeling of being engulfed by such vast geometric concrete forms, from every view point, a different composition. We wanted to capture the feeling of wonder and curiosity in this design, which can be hung in 3 varying patterns as a result of the scale and composition of the design, all highlighted by metallic detail.

The Oblique collection was developed through the dissection and reduction of blocks of text. Taking influence from the mail art movement in Berlin in the early 1970’s a web of information has evolved into the interweaving of lines in irregular blocks which gently touch and overlap. • Vitrified porcelain can be washed in a dishwasher - at a maximum temperature of 60°C. However, where precious metals are used ware should only be hand washed.
• Stubborn stains can be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour without damaging the china. Scouring pads or abrasive washing agents must not be used. Soaking in warm water before washing will remove most stains or hardened on particles.
• When storing plates, try not to slide them over one another as this may cause tiny scratches in the glaze. We recommend a paper napkin is placed between each plate.

Designed as a series of floral textures creating layers for interiors - they were inspired by classic florals, re-imagining them for contemporary interiors and architectural spaces.
The collaboration seeded itself two years ago when 2LG began renovating their Forest Hill home and discovered a fragment of old floral wallpaper beneath several layers of paint and paper. They shared this moment with Custhom and it began to grow into a full collection as the tiny floral stayed in all of their minds.

Research and explorations into the benefits of a tactile surface have lead us to develop a hard wearing stitch technique using thread through paper. Working with a British embroidery house, we are able to embroider directly onto non-woven fire retardant wallpaper, using polyester for high shine to ceramic cotton threads for a flat Matt finish.
The needlework provides a delicate and intricate craftsmanship to the wall coverings. Inviting to the touch and adding tonal elements of a single thread colour dependent on the angle of the viewer. This process has considerably less wastage than any print method and is solely made in the United Kingdom.

Silk Screen-print framed in a 750mm diameter birch timber fame. The print is non-glazed and floats in the 500mm depth frame. This collection was developed through the dissection and reduction of blocks of text. Taking influence from the mail art movement in Berlin in the early 1970’s a web of information has evolved into the interweaving of lines in irregular blocks which gently touch and overlap. Explored through print and embroidery, the oblique collection is a screen-printed wallpaper on wide width non-woven paper and a collection of quilted and upholstered furniture blocks.

Contour is a graphic exploration of line and movement drawn from the boundaries and divisions of sports courts. Custhom have heavily embroidered onto Kvadrat fabric to upholster our simple solid Oak daybed. The mattress and bolster from the daybed have been embroidered using a chain stitch labyrinth technique creating an undulating surface to the textile and areas of contrasting dense stitching and quilted felt, this is something the studio have been developing for some time in their wall coverings collections and are excited to see it as a softer and more exaggerated
substrate.

The Forest Hill Collection A collection of hand printed wallpapers, linens and velvets created in collaboration by South East London based design practices 2LG Studio and Custhom.
Designed as a series of floral textures creating layers for interiors - they were inspired by classic florals, re-imagining them for contemporary interiors and architectural spaces.
The collaboration seeded itself two years ago when 2LG began renovating their Forest Hill home and discovered a fragment of old floral wallpaper beneath several layers of paint and paper. They shared this moment with Custhom and it began to grow into a full collection as the tiny floral stayed in all of their minds.
